This is how they looked the first year we got them ( 2010 ) in the ground. I hadn't even setup the trellis yet. I planted hybrid varieties that are cold hardy yet good for wine making ( if you consider wine from these parts good ). I have two Kay Gray, two Edelwise, and one Frontenac. If we ever get enough grapes to make wine with, that is what I'll be trying to do :)
